You & Me: Our Stories

STORYTELLERS

This is the space our voices will be heard. If you want to share, film your story, upload to vimeo, and send me the link. This is the page that declares, “WE AREN’T ALONE!”

{under construction because you’re filming, aren’t you?}

Tips:

1. Open the curtains and let some natural light in. Use an iPhone, iPad, or computer. Or one of those…what are they called?…video cameras?

2. Make eye contact with the camera. It feels like we’re having coffee together this way.

3. Be yourself. If you mess up, you’re in good company. No perfection allowed. Unless you’re naturally perfect, in which case we won’t judge.

4. If you’re nervous but KNOW you’re supposed to do this. Type it out, put it on your screen and read to us. It’s okay this way, too.

5. You can email me @ promiscuity undone @ gmail (dot) com and I can help you upload to vimeo. OR you can upload yourself and send me the link.

Thanks, ladies!

  1. I’ve felt a strange ‘hardened’ spirit for years…since I was a child and normally upon waking in the morning and not throughout the course of my day…and the Holy Spirit just recently identified this spirit to me as a ‘callous’ spirit. Where has this ‘callous’ spirit come from? I knew it followed me all my life, from childhood, but what caused it to be there in the first place? When I read your blog…and saw the word ‘callous’ come up in regards to sexual promiscuity…I began to weep as I knew I had finally found my answer. I thank the Lord for the revation he gave me through your blog, as just a week ago, I asked the Lord to come in to my broken places that have to do with sex and deliver me…and today, through this experience, I know Im in the process of healing. Thank you for having the courage to share your story. I no longer feel alone.

    • Good morning, Thank you SO much for coming here, reading, and sharing your story. You found me at the right time. The book (Inviting Intimacy) is finally being published at the end of July, and it doesn’t just include my story, but at the end of each chapter I have a co-author who leads us through the most incredible healing and insight into some of the very things that leave us feeling calloused. His name is Luke. So if you Google Marian Green & Luke Brasel, you’ll find it on Amazon.

      But today I celebrate with you! You’ve invited God into the most intimate places of yourself, and I know HE is faithful to heal.

      Thank you for being brave and commenting here. Your sensitivity to even the timing of the day when you feel most hardened stirs something deep within me. I hope to hear from you more. Please let me know if you can’t afford the book. Hugs. Marian
